Mother’s Day Bouquet Coloring Card

Print out this adorable card for Mother’s Day that looks like a bouquet of flowers. Open the bouquet wrapping to reveal the message, “Happy Mother’s Day!” This is a simple but cute craft kids can make to give to their moms on Mother’s Day.

Hi friends! I have a really straightforward kids craft to share with you today that is perfect for Mother’s Day. And the best part is that you only need the printable card I designed plus a few basic supplies that pretty much every classroom already has, so it would make a great class craft. Let me show you how to make these darling bouquet cards for Mother’s Day!

Materials Needed

  • Printable (download below)
  • White Paper (copy paper or cardstock both work great)
  • Colored Pencils, Markers or Crayons
  • Scotch Tape
  • Scissors

Instructions

Step 1: PRINT. Download the design at the bottom of this post and print it onto white paper or cardstock. Either works, so if you don’t want to spend the extra money on cardstock, this is a time you can skip it.

Step 2: COLOR. Let your child color the flowers and bow, add a special message, and decorate the rest of the card however they would like. The card folds over, so they may want to color on the back side too. This might work better after it’s cut out, but coloring the rest of the card will be easier when it’s not cut out yet.

Step 3: CUT. Cut just outside of the lines and around the flowers. Cut out the bow. Littler kids might need help with this step.

Step 4: FOLD. Fold inward along the two dotted lines to form a triangle shape at the bottom. This would be when the child might want to finish decorating those two flaps.

Step 5: TAPE. Put two loops of tape onto the back side of the bow, one loop on each side. Fold the card up, then stick the bow over the seam to hold the card closed. One piece of tape should be on the left flap and one piece of tape on the right.

And that’s it! Your cutie pie cards for Mother’s Day are all done!
